How We Verify Prices

Vet prices change often, so we try to make every number on this site something you can trace and check for yourself. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Where the numbers come from

We start with the source. Prices, hours and eligibility rules come from the clinic's or program's own public page, and we link straight to it so you can look too. Each price carries the date we read it. When a source page shows no date of its own, we mark the figure "undated" instead of guessing.

What happens when we are not sure

If we can't confirm something at the source, we say so. Anything unconfirmed is labeled as unverified, and we won't present it to you as fact.

Keeping things fresh

We aim to re-check listings regularly and update the date each time we do. Even so, a clinic can change its prices the day after we look, so please confirm with the clinic before you book or budget.

Cost and logistics only

This site is about money and getting care. We don't diagnose, and we don't recommend treatment. Questions like that are for your vet.

If we got it wrong

Tell us. A short note on the corrections page is enough, and we will correct the page.

We are independent. Clinics can't pay to be listed or to change what we publish.
